Rubislaw Den residence

The visuals allowed:

  • Productive discussions with the client

  • Understanding

  • Revisions to be shown

An exciting project to visualise a bespoke contemporary extension for a high profile client in Aberdeen. As the design uniquely featured curved glass and a concealed steel structure, it was very hard to picture the actual space from the complex architectural drawings.

  • Interior layout to be planned

  • Possible furniture choices and sizes to be shown

  • Appreciation of the architect's skill

The design, once completed, won the Aberdeen Society of Architects’ ‘Building of the Year’ award, as well as the ‘Best Small Project in 2011’ award.
