I have always been interested in design and construction from an early age, from figuring out how mechanical systems work to making models, drawings and music.

I studied Architecture at Dundee's Duncan of Jordanstone, winning awards and enjoying the variety of design challenges and interesting discussions had with classmates as well as living away from home for the first time! I also studied at Glasgow's Mackintosh School of Architecture and gained a different perspective in the opinions, tutors and trends of a city and school completely new to me.

After this I worked in several architectural practices and learned a lot, but found the work rather contained- as if I was only seeing a small part of the whole. From then on I went to work at a variety of different places including building and construction firms, a builder's merchants, with several small-scale property developers, three piano firms, as well as working freelance using a variety of these skills to serve private clients.

I continue to explore new areas and ideas, and am currently offering illustrations and prints of architectural subjects as well as developing ongoing interests in architectural design and construction projects.
